You will have the chance to work on an innovative final dissertation project focused on developing an AI module to improve the Human Machine Interface (HMI) of an airport digital twin.
Objectives: This research aims to address the growing complexity and demands of airport operations by using artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, enhance safety and optimise decision-making processes.

Main Activities: Study, design, develop and implement AI algorithms that enhance the interface's functionality and user experience of an HMI implemented in an airport digital twin; Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the AI module; Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including software engineers, aerospace engineers, and airport operations experts to develop innovative solutions;  Develop documentation and presentation skills are essential for effectively communicating the results.
Technical skills required: Knowledge of Python and C#;  Good command of English (spoken, written, and technical-IT).
Optional Technical Skills: Knowledge of MatLab, Simulink, and other programming languages;  Familiarity with the Unity Real-Time development platform.
Education: Students of Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent ability to work in a team and a strong problem-solving orientation will round off the profile.
