Purpose of the Job: The incumbent is primarily responsible for assisting customers in performing Abbott's TAVI Cardiovascular Transcatheter Valve program and providing clinical/technical expertise. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of cardiology and cardiac surgery, with a focus on transcatheter valve technology. The incumbent will ensure that all technical inquiries from the field or internal sources are addressed promptly and reported to the competent authorities within Abbott. Technical Activities:
Provide customers with continuous updates on Abbott technology to deliver the highest value in therapeutic solutions. Offer technical support for implants and follow-ups. Build strong personal relationships with customers, providing adequate support for their scientific and technological needs. Act as the main interface to implement specific education, marketing, and clinical initiatives at the customer level. Liaise with agents and the Bid & Tender office during bid preparations, including technical specifications and support material. Support congress activities and ensure all Abbott standing procedures are followed. Training & Education Activities:
Develop local training activities, including the use of simulators. Serve as the link with implanters for educational activities. Establish partnerships with major medical associations to develop training programs for physicians and nurses. Education & Competencies:
Qualifications: Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent. Experience: At least 1 year of experience in similar activities. Skills: Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal. Comprehensive understanding of cardiology and cardiac surgery, with an emphasis on transcatheter valve technology. Proficiency in applying theoretical principles and analytical and troubleshooting techniques. Natural Abilities: Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
