Orthofix, Inc("the Company")has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for a Chief Legal & Compliance Officer &Corporate Secretary. Company: Orthofix and SeaSpine merged in January 2023 to form a leading global spine and orthopedics company with a comprehensive portfolio of biologics, innovative spinal hardware, bone growth therapies, specialized orthopedic solutions, and a leading surgical navigation system. Its products are distributed in approximately 68 countries worldwide.

The Company is headquartered in Lewisville, Texas, where it conducts general business, product development, medical education, and manufacturing, and has primary offices in Carlsbad, CA, with a focus on spine and biologics product innovation and surgeon education, and Verona, Italy, with an emphasis on product innovation, production, and medical education for orthopedics.

Overview:The Chief Legal and Compliance Officer & Corporate Secretary at Orthofix is a key leadership and executive position that sits on the Executive Leadership Team within the organization. The Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary advises the CEO, Executive Leadership, the Chairman of the Board, and the Board of Directors on all legal matters, issues, and risks impacting the organization.

Experience: The successful candidate will have 10-15+ years of relevant and successful legal experience in a life sciences company, with five years of medical device experience preferred and prior general counsel or leadership responsibilities for a global, publicly traded company.

Location/Relocation: Relocation to Dallas, Texas, or Carlsbad, CA, will be required.

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
