For our Savigliano site in Italy , we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Test Laboratory Technical Operator .
Purpose of the job:
Correct handling of test laboratory measurement devices and test benches devices. Assembly of measurement chains and support Test Technicians during their calibration. Assembly of cables, connector, electrical circuit (including tin welding). Supporting construction of mechanical parts, brackets, supports to allow installation of sensors on the test item (welding, grinding, piece working with Lathe, Milling, Cutter, Drilling machine are included). Execution of test activities in laboratory using available test benches and instrumentation. Construction and set up of hydraulic circuits to allow load & displacement application to the test item. Assembly of mechanical test set-up to perform structural tests on components. Assembly of test benches and measurement system on track in SAV workshop or in external Depot. Respect of EHS directives in performing the test activities in the laboratory, in external depot and on trains. Support Test Measurement Leader and Test Technicians in execution of test activities. Execution of elementary data analysis for evaluation of test results (filtering, summation, etc.). Experience:
Experience in using mechanical devices to weld, grind, etc. Experience in using mechanical working machine (Lathe, Milling machine, etc). Experience in the management of low voltage electrical devices including connector assembly and tin welding. Experience in the construction of test set-up. Experience in reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawing. Experience of test instrumentation for signal acquisition and analysis. Experience in the use of Personal Computer in Windows ambient. Knowledge of English language. Educational Requirements:
Mechanical/Electrotechnical background or equivalent.
