TEST ENGINEER - ON BOARD CHARGER - AUTOMOTIVE DOMAIN Work Location: Italy, Modena Area
The selected resource will develop and manage electrical and mechanical tests on OBC system, according to the components/system development planning.
Duties Design and manage the electrical and mechanical test on OBC and on the complete system; Define and develop the testing methodologies and measurement techniques; Work closely with the mechanical and electrical development hybrid system team, sharing the test results in order to generate improvements on systems design; Support Design FMEA; Support Design for Assembly and Design for Manufacturability efforts in the design of each part and assembly. Requirements Education / Background / Technical Skills:
BSc / MSc Electrical Engineering or similar background; 2+ years of experience in Automotive hybrid/electrical components tests, with full command of all the electrical and mechanical measurement techniques and instruments for electrical machines, DC/AC converters, DC/DC converters etc; 2+ years of MATLAB/Simulink/Testing Automation programming experience. Desired Skills Positive mindset, commitment, precision, flexibility, reliability; Customer oriented; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent team-work attitude; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines.
