The Test Engineer I is responsible for testing software and hardware designs that impact the products and services across all areas within the gambling industry. Providing integrity to the casino and gambling industry for over 30 years, GLI's team of engineers help protect casino and gambling markets around the world by thoroughly testing products to identify potential problems and defects, optimizing quality, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Location: Villanova di Camposampiero, Padova (office-based role)

What You Will Accomplish Here…
The Engineering team at GLI tests software and hardware designs that impact the products and services across all areas within the gambling industry. We are searching for an entry-level Test Engineer in our Padova office to join our team. The Test Engineer's main focus will be on the following:

Efficiently Evaluating and Executing Tests by: Developing an understanding of technical requirements/regulationsDeveloping an understanding of client's expectations and additional testing requestsResearching, identifying and applying any special rules or other requirementsAccurately developing and executing test methods for technical and client requirementsEffectively documenting test results and discovered defectsManaging projects and tasks against budgets and timelinesCommunicating and Coordinating with Clients by: Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all assigned customersMaintaining an understanding of the customer's needs and market positionProactively communicating the status of testing with all relevant internal and external partiesExperience, Education, Skills and Credentials: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience in engineering, science, math or other technical areas strongly preferredAssociate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or 2+ years of equivalent experience may be consideredCertification, formal training or experience may also be evaluated and considered in lieu of educational requirementsValid Driver's License requiredKnowledge of C++ or other modern, object-oriented programming language(s) is requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is requiredMust be able to read, write and speak English fluentlyMust have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively and professionally speak orally and in writing with both internal and external partiesMust demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness, and deadlinesMust be able to pass a thorough background investigationWhat We Offer… Annual leave days as per CCNL CommercioFlexible holiday planDiscretionary End-year bonusAnnual Performance ReviewsCareer path planningJob related trainings after approval manager and Career Development PlanWeekly fresh fruit, free coffee, tea and chill-out space at the officeInternational work atmosphere with 30 different nationalities within GLI Europe, GLI UK, GLI Italy, GLI Spain, GLI Africa, GLI AustriaGaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a gaming company.
