The R&D department is looking for a R&D Test Engineer in Monza site (Regular Contract) .
About the job
You will be part of the Product Development Department which is accountable for the development of fuel supply systems and high-speed separator modules for the marine industry. The team is based in Monza (Italy) with offices also in Tumba (Sweden) and Shanghai (China).
The Quality Team is composed of 4 members in Monza and one in Shanghai.

What about the job
In your role you will:
Support product development and members in projects
Participate in various project teams, which can be cross functional
Actively contribute to test prototypes requirement definition
Coordinate the planning of own activities
Manage R&D test area facility, equipment and dedicated instrumentations
Define and update test area procedures
Guarantee safety procedures are respected by people accessing the test area
Identify, detail, plan and execute tests
Define component qualification process through validation test phase
Collect data and analyze test results
Draft and issue test reports
Manage post mortem item/components analysis and inspection identifying root cause of malfunctioning
Support in prototype testing in factories (internal and external)
When required, support service function in commissioning and troubleshooting in onboard tests
Identify and contribute to the development/implementation of advanced diagnostic tools
Participate in quality, peer review process
Contribute to Lesson Learnt database updating
Contribute to service documentation drafting and review
Contribute to field service engineer training and qualification.
What you know
Engineering will be an asset
Background in mechanics, process and automation
Familiarity with project work and product development
Understanding of the basics in the fuel conditioning and separation process on board vessels
Knowledge of product performance and quality principles
Knowledge of Safety principles and rules
Knowledge of Design of Experiment
Experience in test and troubleshooting; onboard experience will be a plus
Knowledge of Data analysis
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Available for travels upon necessity (about 20% of time)
Fluent written and spoken English.
