R&D Test Engineer in Monza site (Regular Contract) About the job You will be part of the Product Development Department which is accountable for the development of fuel supply systems and high-speed separator modules for the marine industry. The team is based in Monza (Italy) with offices also in Tumba (Sweden) and Shanghai (China).
The Quality Team is composed of 4 members in Monza and one in Shanghai. Our vision is to secure that the Quality Department is a valued, strong contributor in designing innovative, reliable, and quality products that exceed industry standards.

Support product development and members in projectsParticipate in various project teams, which can be cross functionalActively contribute to test prototypes requirement definitionCoordinate the planning of own activitiesManage R&D test area facility, equipment and dedicated instrumentationsDefine and update test area proceduresGuarantee safety procedures are respected by people accessing the test areaIdentify, detail, plan and execute testsDefine component qualification process through validation test phaseCollect data and analyze test resultsDraft and issue test reportsManage post mortem item/components analysis and inspection identifying root cause of malfunctioningSupport in prototype testing in factories (internal and external)When required support service function in commissioning and troubleshooting in onboard testsIdentify and contribute to the development/implementation of advanced diagnostic toolsParticipate in quality, peer review processContribute to Lesson Learnt database updatingContribute to service documentation drafting and reviewContribute to field service engineer training and qualification.What you know Engineer will be an assetBackground in mechanics, process and automationFamiliarity with project work and product developmentUnderstand the basics in the fuel conditioning and separation process on board vesselsKnowledge of product performance and quality principlesKnowledge of Safety principles and rulesKnowledge of Design of ExperimentExperience in test and troubleshooting, onboard experience will be a plusKnowledge of Data analysisAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Available for travels upon necessity (about 20% of time)Fluent written and spoken English.
