We're looking for a Test Engineer for our Test Engineer team.
Your task will be to ensure that the software or system meets the necessary quality standards, through the management and organisation of testing activities. The activities will be carried out in collaboration with the team, both with colleagues from software development and with stakeholders to better understand the requirements and functionalities of the software to be tested.
Activities:Test design and management: creating detailed test plans and defining test strategies to meet project requirements;Test development: creating test cases and input data needed to execute tests, reviewing test cases following review with the client;Test execution: carrying out the tests according to the established plans and recording the results, analysing the execution progress and defining return strategies to meet the schedule;Analysis of results: evaluation of test results to identify defects, errors or malfunctions in the software or system;Defect reporting: documentation and accurate reporting of defects found during testing to the development or project team;Installation support for end-user use;Collaboration with project and program teams in multiple disciplines to define system requirements;Research and implementation of new methodologies: Keeping abreast of best testing practices and adopting new approaches and tools to continuously improve the quality of testing.Key requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication and Electronics;Hands-on experience with test design and management;At least 2 years' experience in this role;Experience in the integration of complex electronic systems;Proven experience in the design of high-tech systems and/or subsystems;Proven experience in laboratory testing;Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as Jira and Redmine;Knowledge of WEB, desktop, hardware validation procedures;Good proficiency in English;What we offer:Competitive salary and benefits package;Opportunities for professional development and career growth;Dynamic and collaborative work environment.Location:Rome
