Founded in 2004, RE:LAB is now a leading authority in the design, development, and evaluation of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).Our company culture is deeply user-centered and driven by user experience.We ensure that machines work for the well-being of people.Our aim is to enhance the relationship between people and technology, enabling our clients' products and services to reach new standards of quality and competitiveness.Designers, human factors experts, and engineers work side by side to create optimal interactions with technological solutions—whether visual, physical, vocal, or gestural.In doing so, we leverage our solid expertise in interaction and visual design, ergonomics, and human factors, as well as in software, firmware, and hardware development for HMI.PositionWe are looking for an Automotive Test and Prototype Engineer to join our team in Audio System Design, Infotainment Design and Technical Management.The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing testing and prototyping activities for automotive components, providing support for integration and debugging tasks both at the hardware (HW) and software (SW) levels, on test benches and directly in vehicles.Lab Activities Management: Support project execution by building and managing test benches, simulators, proto boards, and gateways, taking care of the setup, execution, and reporting.Stakeholder and Supplier Interface: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and, when necessary, external suppliers to resolve SW and HW bugs, offering support during testing in case of critical issues.Test Reporting: Prepare detailed reports following test execution, describing any issues encountered, and document them on platforms such as Jira.In-Vehicle Sanity Checks: Perform sanity checks in vehicles to ensure that various setups are functional and ready for task execution, interfacing with different stakeholders and ensuring compliance with company processes.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
A master's degree or specialization in automotive or electronic engineering is considered a plus.
