The TEOA Site Leader position is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Site Manager with a dotted line to the Regional TEOA Manager / Director. Business Unit management has discretion to modify this reporting relationship, as appropriate.
The TEOA Site Leader will report to the highest Management Level at the Site.
**What your background should look like**:
- Coordinate with the site management and TEOA Team the development of the site-level Current State VSM, Future State VSM and TEOA deployment plan based on TEOA Site Assessment, to achieve the plant performance objectives (Star levels).
- Discuss with site management on the resources and priorities needed to support the deployment plan.
- Plan, drive and follow-up the TEOA deployment plan at the site.
- Hold weekly follow-up of the improvement projects as planned in the deployment plan.
- Hold monthly Review meetings with Plant management and EMEA TEOA Management to review the committed deliverables and adjust the TEOA deployment plan if needed.
- Increase knowledge to all levels of employees by detecting training needs and organize training of problem-solving techniques and TEOA improvement tools.
- Deliver TEOA Trainings acc. TEOA Learning Path in local language (Novice & Apprentice)
- Share Successfully Demonstrated Practices (SDP's) with TE Community.
- Lead more complex improvement projects such as implementing new material flow systems.
- Understanding DIGITAL pant needs, translate needs into DIGITAL value creation initiatives.
- Prepare and follow up of the Plant DIGITAL budget around CAPEX, OPEX, TEIS Development-Enhancement-Deployment.
- Ensure DIGITAL Value creation using intensively deployed DIGITAL solutions.
- DIGITAL KPI responsibility.
- Actively participating in the DIGITAL community events.
Qualifications and experience required
- B.S. (engineering preferred) or similar technician education.
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience with focus on production, logistics or engineering and economical knowledge.
- At least 5 years' experience in leading continuous improvement activities on site level (Lean Leader or similar function).
- Extensive hands-on and practical experience in using value stream mapping and implementing TEOA tools. Lead minimum 25 kaizen events with proven results in at least following areas: 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Quick Changeover and TPM.
- User experience with state-of-the-art DIGITAL technologies like MES.
- Demonstrated DIGITAL implementation and project management expertise.
- Understanding DIGITAL Value Creation.
- Big picture thinker (Manufacturing Processes, TEOA, DIGITAL).
