General Summary: As a Teller, you are the first point of contact for our clients. Through greeting clients, building rapport, and creating excitement throughout their transaction, you are responsible for providing an exceptional client experience. Tellers process basic banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers in a professional and timely manner. Additionally, Tellers are expected to follow policies and operational procedures to ensure the teller line remains compliant. The Teller role is an entry-level position for individuals to learn the financial industry and grow their career.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Interact with clients in a friendly, upbeat mannerAccurately and timely process banking transactions for clientsFollow all cash handling proceduresComplete assigned regulatory trainingStrong verbal communication in-person and over the phoneAccurately balance cash drawerWork with Lead Teller to ensure complianceStrong attendance and dependabilityIdentify solutions for clients' problems and escalate to the appropriate staff as neededQualifications: Prior Customer Service experiencePrior Cash Handling experienceSchedule: Three days/week and rotating Saturdays - about 20-25 hours
