Telespazio - E2E Space System engineering per Ground Segment Job Description:

Highlights of the role:
He/she will be involved in new space missions domain such as In Orbit Services.
He/she will be responsible for E2E System or Ground Segment engineering in missions where Telespazio is either Prime Contractor at System level or sub contractor at Ground Segment level.
In the design phase, starting from input requirements he/she will define the E2E System or Ground segment decomposition, proposing requirement allocation to subsystem. He/she will design state of the art System and Ground segment architectures, taking into account reuse/upgrading of existing components or new development. He/she will be in charge of performing system budget and trade off analysis. He/she will perform mission analysis and define the mission Operational Concepts in collaboration with the Operational experts. During the development phase, he/she will support or directly coordinate the development activities of the system and/or subsystems. During the AIT phase he/she will be in charge of supporting the AIV activities of the System or Ground Segment and its sub-systems. He/She will also be part of the integrated AIV team for the execution of the integration, verification and validation test campaigns.

Master's degree or comparable in Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent qualification, preferably in engineering or Remote Sensing At least 3 years of relevant experience Essential Skills:
Experience in new space missions domains such as In Orbit Services Ground Segment engineering, design, analysis and trade off Experience in mission analysis System Engineering methodologies and tools for system functional analysis, including requirement and interfaces management Knowledge of system engineering processes, and system and software life-cycles and standards Good English knowledge Desirable Skills:
Experience in new Space Mission domains such as In Orbit Services (especially for System or Ground Segments engineering) Experience in Ground Segment sub-systems engineering, design, analysis and trade off Experience in software development from design to the implementation and tests Experience in Ground Segment and sub-system development, qualification and acceptance Experience using Project tracking and Management tools Qualities:
