As a Business Technology Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving technology strategy and execution for the Italian market.
Position Overview: As a Business Technology Senior Manager, you will partner with the Head of Technology and the EMEA Business Technology Leadership Team to set the vision and objectives for our operating company in Italy.
You will work closely with our Italian business partners in Milan to strategically run and prioritize technology-related demands.
Your role will be instrumental in translating business strategies and needs of our internal customers into innovative technology solutions, and driving adoption of our innovative regional platforms.
Responsibilities: * Collaborate with business partners at J&J IM Italy to align and prioritize business and IT strategies.
* Support the Head of Technology in defining annual objectives and outcomes for selected areas/functions.
* Empower regional Product Group Leaders to innovate and create solutions that meet business and customer needs.
* Drive continuous improvement through technology, data, and automation.
* Collaborate with digital health teams to deploy digital health capabilities.
* Define and measure the value being created and delivered to customers, users, and stakeholders.
* Monitor performance metrics of Technology to focus on business value realization.
* Assist in developing business cases and supporting funding request activities.
* Support the Head of Technology on selected initiatives and business planning cycles.
* Foster a data-driven culture and increase digital acumen for business partners and product teams.
* Build strong partnerships with technology providers, government, and advisory boards.
* Identify and implement emerging products based on customers' evolving needs, and in collaboration with our regional technology organization.
* Manage delivery of specialized/local applications for Italy not aligned to existing regional technology products.
* Drive strategic global business strategy and process harmonization opportunities.
* Drive and contribute to our talent and culture agenda.
* Support Product Group Leaders in fulfilling external requirements.
Qualifications - External Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration).
* Strong understanding of technology strategy and execution, and how technology capabilities contribute to our competitiveness.
* Experience in driving innovation and influencing strategic decision-making.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, both in English and Italian.
* Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven track record of delivering impactful technology solutions.
* Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
