As our next IPC Technology Engineer you will lead technology development projects in regards to in-line process control system technologies, from scope definition and budget definition to project closure and follow-up, in order to release and start up in production the required innovative technology/equipment solutions, in respect of technical and quality requirements, safety standards and/or cost reduction or productivity increase, within the approved timeline and the operating and investment budget.
Your 'day to day' Interact with the sources of new products and innovation - e.g.
PDev Conventional, RD, PPQ, PMIE Technology Development central functions, Prototyping, Industrialization, QA, Manufacturing, in order to collect the needs for new technologies; Analyze the collected needs, producing structured draft Technical Specifications, viable both for internal communication / development and for suppliers analysis, according to our standards; Assess a portfolio of candidate suppliers, check their references and specifications, propose the selection of the most appropriate ones and, supported by our Technical Procurement and Purchasing teams; Lead the technology set-up, pre-acceptance tests, acceptance tests and industrial pre-tests, ensuring all the needed people are rightly and timely involved.
Develop detailed project plans/schedules and define technical critical paths, while also actively monitoring the delivery.
Prepare and release all required project documentation in all project phases, including project costs; Promote the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental culture, transfer it into procedures and work instructions to discipline and monitor the team activities and keep a healthy and safe-conscious working environment.
Who we're looking for: 3-5 years of experience in Technology development in industry hi-tech for mass volumes; University degree in Electronics, Computer or Automation Engineering, or equivalent working experience; Proven ability to lead complex technical projects, with Project Management methodologies and tools; Knowledge in Pharma like (GMPs) qualification and validation procedures and CSV (Computerized System Validation) requirements; Excellent knowledge in automation control systems; Excellent knowledge in statistic / SPC; English and Italian fluency.
