The Settembre Lab is seeking a highly motivated technician candidate that will be working in a diverse and collaborative research environment and will support the laboratory's work on high throughput and high content screening projects to identify novel regulators of selective autophagy. In addition, the candidate will be involved in routinely experiments, such as western blotting, genotyping, DNA preparation and protein purifications. The gross annual salary ranges from €19,000 to €27,500, depending on experience. Specifics will be discussed individually with applicants. Technician candidates should have a master's degree in biology or a related discipline and background and mastering of basic molecular and cell biology techniques (PCR, cloning, RT-PCR, western-blot, cell culture, transfection, ELISA, etc.).
