We seek for our Institute: TECHNICIAN - MATERNITY REPLACEMENT We are searching for a technician/research engineer/assistant within a technology developing unit (TDU) that focuses on innovating biotechnology for cancer research as well as biomedical applications.
MAIN ACTIVITIES The work will involve the creation, production, and testing of novel research and biomedical devices, which includes collaboration on scientific projects with several Group Leaders at IFOM.
Our setup includes a vast array of biological and microscopy techniques, as well as 3D printing, micro-fabrication facilities, Atomic Force Microscopes, and more.
REQUIREMENTS The candidate should be passionate about new technologies and skilled in problem solving.
Previous experience in photo/soft lithography, microfluidics, device fabrication (3D printing), and Atomic Force Microscopy will be favored.
Basic knowledge of biology and imaging techniques will be a plus.
The candidate should be willing to learn new skills, be organized and efficient, and work as part of a dynamic, international environment.
EDUCATION A degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
