YOUR TEAM
The Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research unit (https://ami.iit.it/) is seeking to appoint a full-time product designer for wearable sensors and humanoid robots.
The selected candidate will develop product design methods for the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence cutting-edge robotics research. In particular, the selected candidate will contribute to the ergoCub joint laboratory (https://ergocub.eu/) between IIT and INAIL. INAIL, the National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work, is an Italian public non-profit entity whose goal is to safeguard workers against physical injuries and occupational diseases. The selected candidate will work in taking the human motion tracking technologies developed at IIT to the next level, preparing proof of concept technologies that will try to address the fundamental societal challenges that INAIL is aiming to solve: helping reduce injuries in the workplace and facilitating the return to work of people injured at the workplace.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic technician who will join our team to improve the state of art in human and humanoid robotics research.
The successful candidate will be involved in the development of product design methods for wearable sensors that allow force and motion tracking systems. Research will be conducted at the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research unit. The laboratory, led by Dr. Daniele Pucci, combines theoretical investigations with real-time practical implementation on real hardware and embedded electronics.
