RINA is currently recruiting for a Technician for High Pressure Testing to join its office in Roma and Perdas within the Materials & Technologies Division.
Mission
RINA Consulting – Centro Sviluppo Materiali is looking for a laboratory technician to join the "Prove in Piena Scala" laboratory. The laboratory conducts mechanical tests on standard or customized samples for specific needs, with a focus on Oil & Gas, but also covers various activities aimed at qualifying and developing new components for different applications (aerospace, defense, marine, etc.). Most tests are performed based on specific client requests, creating dedicated test benches as needed.
Willingness to work long-term assignments in Perdasdefogu (Nuoro) is required.
Job Responsibilities Conduct tests in accordance with European and international standards for component and/or material qualification. Perform tests according to specific procedures established with clients, for characterizing field performance of test components. Execute "fit for purpose" tests to determine the causes of specific field problems. Prepare mechanical tests on full-scale components, making minor mechanical adjustments to test equipment as needed. Periodically verify the condition of testing equipment and perform necessary calibration and maintenance according to user manuals. Collaborate with team members to carry out work and resolve any laboratory issues. Education
