Atlas Copco BLM s.r.l. is looking for a Technical Writer to be included in our R&D Department .
He/She will report hierarchically to the Test and Documentation Line Manager and functionally to the Project Manager(s) of the projects involved.
Main Duties
Write and update User Guides with descriptions of the products and their features Write and update Service procedures for the maintenance of these products Write and update Safety information Manage images to insert in these documents Assure that documentation is compliant with technical guidelines Accurately evaluate the effort for the documentation activity Work with proficiency within the project team participating in release planning Manage translation process workflow Occasional Activities
Provide support to the Line Manager in his/her line activities *Torque measurement devices, data collectors, and software
Main Competences Needed
Education: Degree Fluent in English, mainly written; other languages are a plus Previous experience in the same role (3 years) Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, mainly Word Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Curious, to support the development of innovation & new ways Ability to clearly summarize complex procedures to the intended user Nice to Have
Knowledge of Schema ST4 CCMS Knowledge of document compliance to EN 61010-1:2010 standard Basic certification on technical writing (for example, Cherryleaf Technical Writing Course) Knowledge of Agile methodologies applied to software development Diverse by Nature and Inclusive by Choice
