Job Details
- As a Technical Writer you will work with our agile teams to deliver our software guidelines, procedures, and release note communication for our products.
You will play a key role in enabling our internal teams on the benefits and workings of the features and capabilities within our software.
- In this role, you will:
- Work alongside the product owners and engineering team, you will document our solution's feature capabilities, writing manuals to enable the configuration and usage.-
- Work with the senior technical writer to review and establishes the information hierarchy for the documentation-
- Work within the team to maintain the standards for the content across our solutions.-
- Review, challenge, and copy-edit the content created by non-writers and drive best practices in technical writing with others.-
- Champion incremental improvements of the documentation and release artefacts and foster an environment that encourages all team members to contribute.-
- Bringing the pain points from readers of the documentation and understanding the needs of your users back to the product owners, and engineering team.-
- Collaborate with the team to create supporting media to enable easy-to-consume articles.
(e.g Videos, GIFs, and images)- For this role, you need to have:
Previous experience with documenting B2B technical platforms (e.g API, Installations, and configuration tools)-
- Proven working experience in the technical writing of software documentation for a technical audience-
- Native-level English or equivalent (C1)-
- Good verbal and written communication skills and no difficulty in facilitating and contributing discussions with colleagues in individual and group settings-
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills-
- Determination to influence the content with a focus on the user experience of the documents and tooling.- Additionally, these are a plus- Experience with Revenue Growth Management or Trade Optimisation processes-
- Experience with or interest in Document360-
