Partner with the best The Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) Internal Technical Training team is chartered with the development and delivery of state-of-the-art employee technical training courses providing high quality, capable field service representatives for the Global Service business to apply across the oil & gas cycle.
As the IET GTS Control Training Instructor, you will be responsible for:
Serve as an assigned member of the IET GTS Internal Technical Training staff at the Training Academy. He/she is qualified to conduct training sessions using approved training materials, and is allowed to make revisions to training materials, include changes in scope or learning objectives as approved by Technical Training Academy team. Take leadership role in working with Training Academy members to define, develop and deliver training courses for BH and multi-vendor products (classroom, laboratory and workshop – Hands On). Responsible for development and delivery to IET population as well as Global Operations Field Service Engineers (both entry level and advanced) technical training courses on IET equipment including scheduling supplemental support, ordering materials/tooling and other essential resources to instruct both classroom and workshop Hands On activities. Able to leverage Virtual and 3D environments as a Training aids during the lessons. Able to deliver training in different Countries according to the IET Strategy and TA training calendar. Integrate applicable business processes into the technical training programs. Course Scheduling & Logistics per strategic business requests which may include, but not be limited to, ordering and coordinating shipment of the necessary equipment, tools and consumables in order to deliver the assigned courses. Documentation & Record keeping (leverage technical reference materials where appropriate in training session, update course material and conduct student performance evaluations) Own & Drive course content improvement delivering on specific session CTQ's. Leverage business subject matter experts as extended training team members where appropriate. Align and revise the courses content and material according to the IET GTS Quality procedures applicable. Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the Field Service Engineers certification tests. Responsible for the classroom setup before the beginning of the lessons and after the end of them. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Master's Degree in Electronics or Software programming. Must know PLC programming. Should have Generators and GPP knowledge. Must be a self-starter, able to work on their own initiative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of interpersonal skills, collaboration, and integrity. Fluent spoken English essential. Experience with adult learning concepts. Good knowledge of Energy and/or Petroleum Market/Applications + BH IET product portfolio. Excellent PC skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access). Ability to read technical drawings / schematics. Valid passport and driver's license. Ability to travel globally (30%+).
