As Product Manager you will actively run the development of the assortment and the business with focus on Southern European markets. In this role you will have a strong focus on innovation, product development, quality, and support.
Job Description We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Technical Support Manager Sheep & Goat Milking Systems to lead proper execution of Sheep & Goat equipment installation. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and extensive experience in the field.
Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise all technical activities related to the installation and maintenance of Sheep & Goat equipment. Plan and manage technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Conduct site inspections and preliminary technical evaluations at customer locations. Collaborate with the Product Management department to develop customized and innovative solutions for Sheep & Goat equipment. Train and manage technical teams (within DeLaval and within dealer organizations), ensuring adequate training and professional development for team members. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all project phases. Support resolution of technical issues that may arise during installations or maintenance. Maintain effective relationships with colleagues within DeLaval organization, providing technical support and professional consultancy. Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Fluent knowledge of the English language. Proven experience of at least 5 years in the livestock equipment industry or similar roles. In-depth knowledge of technologies and systems used in dairy equipment. Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Training capabilities and good communication skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards applicable to the industry. High level of autonomy, including rigorous time management capabilities, and very good planning skills. Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally.
