RINA is currently recruiting for a Technical Staff - Food (BIO Sector) to join its office in Pescara within the Italy Food Certification Division.
Mission
The resource will support organic manager of Pescara office in the management and control of organic/SQNPI certification practices.
Key Accountabilities
First certified request managementPreparation of assignment to the inspectorsReview of practicesUse of the organic management computer systemCarry out inspection checks on organic companiesParticipate in and conduct audits, which involves conducting interviews, taking comprehensive notes, and evaluating the implementation of management systems.Identify and define audit results (Positive and negative findings as non conformities, opportunity of improvement).Involvement in the organic certification process decision (certification committee, certification issue etc.)Carry out a technical review of audit files, providing insights and recommendations for certification decisions.Check customer management system documents, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, records, and technical documents, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.Keep skills, qualifications, and certifications up to date by staying informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Education
Bachelor's Degree
High School Diploma/GED in Agriculture/Agronomy/Food Technology
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in the roleQuality Management System lead auditor qualification (40 h)Courses organic certification scheme (Reg UE 2018/848, etc)Experience in the management and control of organic certification scheme (min 1 year)Mipaaf authorization for at least the following activities as inspector: vegetable production, food preparation, livestock production, wine (is appreciated)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian.
