DUTIES INCLUDE: Perform mechanical, tribological, and profilometry testing on provided samples. Perform instrument calibration procedures. Analyze and report all test findings. Prepare, document and organize samples for testing. Provide customers with high-level technical support via phone, e-mail, or in person. Perform installation of Nanovea metrology instruments. Provide operational training for Nanovea metrology instruments, both internally and externally. Track and report issues with metrology instruments to quality advancement and improvement manager and development team. Troubleshoot and repair damaged or malfunctioning metrology instruments. Maintain Nanovea laboratory instruments. Support sales team with technical expertise on Nanovea metrology instruments. Create and organize technical documentation to support the sale of metrology instruments. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. REQUIREMENTS:
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation ability. English speaking and writing level C2 or C1. Excels in critical thinking, dexterity, spatial reasoning, problem-solving and multi-tasking. Keen attention to detail and organization. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Able to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time. Succeeds in self-management. Knowledge of assembling, troubleshooting, or repairing electrical or mechanical assemblies. QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred License/Bachelor's in Materials, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Preferred Italian speaking and writing level > B1. Other languages speaking and writing level > C2 a plus.
