The Technical Sales Manager will supervise all the activities in the technical office and pilot line.
He/She coordinates Sales, Design and Pilot line teams and at the same time the role maintains relationships with key customers, ensuring that the products meet their needs, negotiating contracts and implement the technical solution.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the team of mechanical designers and pilot line Support in reviewing the budget Coordinate the development plan for contract projects for embossing rolls Interface with customers Collaborate with the RD team for developing new embossing rolls Propose creative and competitive product development solutions to the Development team Study and develop new methodologies in order to improve embossing rolls Oversee the project to the customer from bidding to order intake Scout for new customers Conduct negotiations Analyze the market and competition Organize and participate in company trade fairs, industry events and trade shows To Succeed in This Role You Should Have: Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design Proven experience as Technical Manager in an industrial environment Knowledge of mechanical design Fluent spoken and written both English and Italian Able to balance budgets Available to travel as required Able to lead a team Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills Goal-oriented and customer-focused Able to work under pressure What We Offer: Work in a global organization with international customers and colleagues, dynamic and modern work environment Be part of an organization committed to innovation and excellence Onboarding plan Internal canteen free of charge Training for managers Additional Information: If you are interested in becoming part of the Valmet team in Lucca, please send your application as soon as possible but no later than October 26, 2024 - we are eagerly waiting for your application!
