About the role System Electronics (https://www.systemelectronics.com/), one of Coesia's companies, is searching for a Technical Sales EMS.
The resource, directly reporting to the Sales Director, will be involved in the identification of new business opportunities, management of existing customer relationships, cost estimation, and analysis.
Specifically, the selected candidate will be responsible for: Cost Estimation Analysis: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates through the analysis of engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and specifications to determine labor, material, and equipment costs.
Supplier Vendor Coordination: Source pricing from suppliers and vendors for components, materials, and services and evaluate alternatives.
Moreover, he/she will develop relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, lead times, and pricing.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
Furthermore, he/she will collaborate with sales director and the account management teams to develop competitive proposals for customers.
Bid Preparation Client Communication Database Documentation Management: Track project costs and estimates against actuals to continuously refine and improve estimation accuracy and store them for easy reference and audit purposes.
Technical Consultation: Providing customers with solutions that meet their design, assembly, and manufacturing needs; prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.
EMS Sales Strategy Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key markets and support the sales executive in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
What you need to be successful Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience; 3+ years of experience in technical sales and estimate within the EMS or electronics industry; Good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB design, assembly, and testing; Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail; Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills; Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events (5% of the time).
