For our own projects, we are looking for TECHNICAL SAFETY PROJECT LEADER Ref code: CR_2401-146_Technical Safety Project Leader Job summary MISSION: We are seeking a Technical Safety Project Leader who, within the Technical Safety function reporting to the department manager, will manage project activities to achieve quality, time, and cost targets in the realization of Technical Safety engineering.
The resource will be the technical reference for the project and the liaison with the Client, overseeing, supervising, and controlling the realization of studies and detailed engineering documents, with particular attention to critical aspects impacting the project, ensuring delivery in compliance with contractual requirements, qualitative and quantitative standards, regulations, international best practices, and assigned timelines and budgets.
TASKS: Ensure the analysis and fulfillment of contractual requirements through the realization of plans, procedures, studies, workshops (FERA, QRA, EERA, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Noise) and detailed engineering documents (e.g., Area Classification, Fire & Gas Detection, Active & Passive Fire Protection, Safety Distances, Escape Route & Safety Sign, Fire Fighting Equipment), executed both in outsourcing and internally; Ensure interface with the Client; Ensure coordination with all relevant technical disciplines involved in engineering, procurement, and construction site; Ensure coordination, direction, and technical supervision of outsourced activities; Coordinate assigned specialists, planning, defining, verifying assigned activities, and optimizing resources; Participate in the development of discipline outputs through direct contribution in critical contexts; Ensure follow-up with suppliers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Energy Engineering, or equivalent; At least 4-5 years of previous experience with EPC Contractors in the Onshore and Offshore plant sector in Energy / Oil & Gas and similar fields; Fluent in English; Knowledge of major design standards and regulations (API, IP, IEC, NFPA, ATEX, PED); Knowledge of MS Office, fire calculation software, risk analysis, 3D CAD; Willingness to travel to Italy and abroad, including non-EU countries, for short periods as required by the project.
OTHER DETAILS: Job Location: Milan, Italy; Contract Duration: 1 year; Working schedule: 8 hours x 5 days; Starting date: January 2024.
