We are looking for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager with expertise in electrical system design, power systems studies, inspection, testing, and maintenance to join the Base-Building Electrical Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of designing & improving electrical system maintenance programs & policies, proficient in creating inspection processes, and has the ability to perform analysis of trends in electrical system reports & internal/external audit findings related to electrical & related risks.
Key job responsibilitiesTravel up to 60% of the timeDevelop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems at warehouse locations, including audits of existing programs in compliance with local codes and global standardsPartner with Risk Management and other key stakeholders in changes to the electrical system maintenance programs, aligning with insurance requirements as applicable, including system inspections and testingPerform detailed calculations to establish standards and specificationsInspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.Proficient in SKM systems analysis, and conducting power systems studiesSupport operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testingAudit electrical system maintenance practices globally to identify deviations and corrective actions.Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutionsMonitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports, and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities, or immediate corrective actions to electrical systems.Support training and start-up of electrical system maintenance and impairment programs at new operations locations.Develop and implement procedures for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining performance of assetsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience in a technical support to operations role for electrical distribution systemsIn-depth knowledge of power system analysis tools and methodologiesFamiliarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience solving problems at a continent or global scaleStrong project management capabilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience with power system electrical testingExperience commissioning power systemsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
