Purpose: Navico Connect EMEA consists of specialized departments of Sales, PM, Finance, Ops, R&D and technical support, working together to develop NAVICO-connect solutions and packages for customers. Navico Connect departments lead the technical development of all Navico connect projects including integration projects developed for the Marine and Mobile industries.
Summary: The Navico Connect Experts specialize in providing technical support to OEM sales managers to help during the various phases in the delivery process. In addition, management of OEM projects and responsibility for technical support provided to the OEM in coverage area.

Accountabilities:
Providing Sales Managers with technical support for commercial negotiations to help with business acquisitions, transitions, OEM projects and model year changes. Technical capabilities to identify the right customer solutions based on our product portfolio. Assesses OEM needs for various electronics systems, LPG (Liquid, Petroleum, Gas) system, digital switching systems and integration with third-party manufacturers and propose the most appropriate solutions. Provides technical support adapted to the needs of the OEM, including audits, training, documentation and commissioning etc. Delivers technical training for OEM networks, including Dealers, Importers, Charter companies etc. Updates and maintains the scope of OEM documentation in the central OEM repository, relative to OEM area of responsibility. Responsible for the transfer of knowledge to Navico Service and dealer networks. Direct customer support via phone and email where required, including entering and monitoring of issues entered into various service tools and IT systems. Management of product End of Life (EoL) and New Product Introductions (NPI). Where required, participates at various shows, exhibitions, and OEM events. Negotiating with customers and OEM, which includes demonstrations, sales pitches, product selections and offers to the customer. Skills & Knowledge:
Electrical / electronic / IT qualification Strong customer focus and customer satisfaction skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of sailing/boating/angling a distinct advantage Ability to maintain a high level of organization with files and internal communications Strong PC and IT competencies with good analytical, diagnostics and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of and ability to use common electrical, electronic and mechanical diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical, electronic, electromechanical issues Able to identify areas for improvement, efficiencies and overall performance for the customer experience Clean driving license and enjoys travel. Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Requires approximately 10% of time or less travelling by plane, trains, and automobiles. Extensive travel may be required at short notice. General office environment Ability to operate a computer.
