We are immediately looking for an employee as Technical Designer (m/f/d) in the field of district heating in Milan, Lombardy in full-time and permanent employment.
Due to your analytical background, you are looking for an exciting task with a long-term perspective in the technical planning area? Do you enjoy dealing with interesting products and complex projects that serve environmental protection and efficient energy saving on a daily basis? Then you are the ideal person for our team.
Your Tasks: Mechanical design of district heating/ cooling networks (stress analysis, optimization and counting of the materials needed) Optimization of design solutions for heat networks Performing static calculations of heat networks Preparation of design proposals (in AutoCAD) and technical reports Direct support (by phone, email, or rarely on-site) to sales and customers Technical support for the sales managers mainly in Italy and France You should meet these requirements: Diploma or degree in technical/scientific disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Building Engineering) Good analytical skills Excellent knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD Good command of English, both spoken and written, French knowledge as an additional advantage but not required Team spirit, commitment, flexibility and an independent, careful way of working Willingness to learn and cooperate Ideally, first professional experience in the piping or industrial sector We offer: A varied and challenging job with a great team A direct employment with the company under the commercial contract A corporate culture in which participation and own ideas are desired and work is fun An international environment (daily interactions with offices throughout Europe) A company operating in the Green Economy sector A good work/life balance with the possibility of smart-working up to 3 days a week Meal vouchers If you have any questions, Martino Timelli, our Teamleader for the Technical Department in Italy will be happy to answer them at any time.
