Technical Consolidation Specialist

For a leading international company we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Consolidation Specialist within the Group Consolidation function.
The position is open in Milano and Bologna. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for group consolidation activitiesStay updated on changes in accounting regulations and guidance issued by standard-setting bodies.Assist in the consolidation of financial statements for the organization's group entities, including subsidiaries, joint ventures, and affiliates.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulatory requirements in the consolidation process. Support accounting for business combinations and acquisitions, including purchase price allocation, fair value assessments, and goodwill impairment testing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquired entities into the group consolidation process.Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation to support accounting treatments and policy decisions.Support external audit activities related to group consolidation, including the preparation of audit schedules, documentation, and reconciliations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field3+ years of experience in technical accounting, preferably with exposure to group consolidation or financial reportingStrong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial consolidation software (Talentia is preferred).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts effectively to stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
