Augier requires an energetic Technical Buyer with procurement experience and interest to join its French Procurement team.
Role Description
Our company is seeking an experienced Technical Buyer to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing technical products, equipment, and services for our organization. They will need to have a deep understanding of technical specifications and requirements, as well as the ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
Key Responsabilities and activities
Sourcing technical products and equipment that meet the needs of the organization
Conducting market research to identify potential supplier and evaluating their capabilities and offering
Negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable to the organization
Managing supplier relationships and monitoring performance to ensure that quality, delivery, and pricing requirements are met
Analyzing technical specifications and requirements to ensure that products and services meet the needs of the organization.
Coordinating with internal teams, such as engineering and operations, to ensure that technical products and services are integrated into the organization's processes and systems.
Ensuring that all purchasing activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
Managing inventory levels and ensuring that supplies are available when needed.
Qualifications
MS degree in a technical field or business
French, English, Italian
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with a focus on technical products and services
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements
