Technical Assistant - Finance Unit

The purpose of EFSA is to be globally accessible to any person regardless of their age, gender, culture, or ability, to foster the greatest degree of independence.responsabilitàProcess the assigned contracts in end-to-end mode, including data entry and filing in DMS (not included entry into ABAC - financial system);Follow-up of C8 and C1 commitments monthly and check on monthly basis the invoices at MOD0 level;Active follow up on deliverables with the operational units, collecting certified correct, and initiating payments without unnecessary delays;Active follow up of contract management issues, in line with Advice 27 of the WIN, and on time involving the agreed actors, e.g. officers.esperienza1 annocompetenzeExcellent knowledge of English (at least B2 level); 1 year of relevant working experience in procurement and contract management roles;Good knowledge of procurement or grant rules of the European Commission;Ability to work with numbers and related tools, with documents and their storage in DMS tools, with tables and reporting tools;Ability to follow a complex process with high attention to details;Full proficiency in IT tools, particularly in Excel and Word as well as in digital communication tools;Behavioural competencies: team player, able to take up ad hoc tasks, ability to support team upon call/need arisen, agility/willingness to execute a variety of support tasks, ability to work effectively in teleworking mode.Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extensions. Expected duration of assignment 12 months. Salary: approx €2500 per month before taxes.Work modalities: Office work is required on at least 2 days per week.
