Role description: Are you a recent graduate ready to dive into the job market and looking to be part of a multinational company? Arcadis is seeking a talented Intern to join our Technical Advisory division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our clients on significant projects in the real estate sector, contributing to meaningful and challenging initiatives of Due Diligence. Supporting our team of Technical advisors, which operates for the identification of risks and opportunities on feasibilities and transactions, you will carry out the verification of buildings and related documentation performing both on-site inspections at sites (with the necessary precautions and safety requirements) and Data Room analysis, becoming a point of reference for the client in relation to findings and risks.
During your internship, you will learn to manage complex projects and develop innovative solutions. This internship aims for hiring placement and represents a gateway to a professional future full of opportunities, in a stimulating and collaborative environment, where you can actively contribute to the success of our clients and develop a rewarding career.
Role accountabilities: Document analysis: Verification of building titles, authorization, cadastral, urban planning, and building documentation. Site visits to verify the condition of the properties, identify defects and deviations, and assess the costs required for compliance (Capital Expenditure Plan estimation). Analysis of the property's maintenance status through site visits. Tenancy analysis and lease contracts. Support to the client during negotiation phases and drafting of purchase agreements in coordination with involved legal, tax, and environmental advisors. Preparation of checklists and formulation of Q&A. Analysis of real estate development progress. Verification of project and building quality and timelines. Analysis of construction contracts and incurred costs. Verification of SALs (Stato Avanzamento Lavori) and certification of work progress with cash flow updates. Qualifications & Experience: A BSc or MSc Degree, preferably in Architecture or Civil Engineering. A previous brief experience in Due Diligence will represent a strong plus. Excellent level of English (B2/C1) written and spoken. Strong analytical and synthesis skills, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented attitude. Goal-oriented.
