Our Consultancy area specializes in the technical assessment of renewable energy projects. We work for the entities that finance the projects, or for the investment funds that buy or sell them.
Our consultants offer objectivity, transparency and expert advice to the different stakeholders in the sector, through the following services:
Technical due diligence for the financing of renewable assets. Due diligence for the purchase and sale of renewable assets. Solar and wind resource studies. Performance studies. Feasibility studies. Bankability studies. Battery energy storage systems (BESS) consulting. Advice/support during contract negotiations for the acquisition or sale of solar and wind assets. We are currently looking for a Junior Technical Advisor/Consultant to join our Consulting team in Italy , one of our preferred markets to grow.
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, among its main functions, the selected person will have the following tasks:
· Producing solar resource studies and performing energy production estimates using tools such as PVsyst.
· Assessing design and performance of energy storage projects.
· Analyzing renewable energy project level documentation such as interconnection agreements, permits, and environmental reviews.
· Verifying electrical designs of renewable energy projects.
· Perform reviews of equipment used on potential renewable energy projects.
What do we need?
· Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering degrees. Master's Degree is a plus.
· 0 -2 years of experience in renewable energy and storage industry and/or technical advisory. Previous working experience in the sector is a plus but not a mandatory requirement.
· Understanding of design principles for renewable energy and/or energy storage projects.
· Experience with PVsyst or other yield assessment tools. Experience with other modeling software is a plus.
· Some knowledge of government regulatory requirements for renewable energy and/or energy storage development and operation.
· High level of English.
· Italian mothertongue or bilingual.
· Excellent reporting and communication skills. Proactivity and autonomy in management of simple tasks.
· Availability to travel to Genoa for internal meetings on a weekly/bi-weekly basis, depending on the level of experience and autonomy.
