Right now, we are looking for a Team Leader Senior Java Developer to join our team at Globant!
Role Overview: As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and enhancement of our applications within a multi-tenant architecture. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless release and activation of new countries, managing application configurations, and supporting database operations. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and performance of our software solutions.
You will also mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Responsibilities: Support the release/activation process of new countries, in a multi-tenant eco-system Support the development (evo + am + test) activities, in a multi-tenant eco-system Support the application configuration management, via K8S config maps Support the database management Support the team management and activity planning What will help you succeed: At least 5 years of experience with the last versions of Java and microservices architecture Proven experience with Spring, Spring Boot 3, etc. Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns Knowledge of SqlServer database Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and GitFlow Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Gradle Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery development processes using tools like Jenkins or Bamboo Previous experience as a Team Leader Good written and spoken communication in English Nice to have: Knowledge of Liquibase Framework Experience with Jenkins / Azure VM / Azure Pipeline / Gitlab actions / Azure K8S Experience in working with Agile development technologies At Globant we believe that an inclusive culture and a diverse environment makes us stronger.
