We have an exciting vacancy for a Team Leader, Machinery role working within Monfalcone in Corporate Shipbuilding being responsible for new build programs across the Carnival brands.
**The Role**
As a Team Leader, Machinery you will manage a team of surveyors within the Marine Engineering and HVAC disciplines.
You will also play a pivotal role in the production and delivery of the new vessels by overseeing the distribution, quality control and monitoring of daily work activities of all team members.
This role also supervises all installation works and commissioning of equipment related to discipline areas, ensuring they are inspected, verified and functionally tested to meet the design parameters and contractual requirements
**About You**:
- Substantial experience of working in the marine industry such as Shipbuilding, classification societies or ship operators, technical suppliers, or an engineering firm in a managerial position.
- Experienced in delivering inspections in Marine Engineering and HVAC disciplines.
- Extensive experience of working in and with multi-cultural environments where team work is of the essence.
- Demonstrable management skills and the ability to motivate a team in a proactive way with the emphasis on problem-solving.
Coordinated team workloads, monitored quality standards, mentoring team members to drive continuous improvements.

**Vaccination status**
