The role will support in managing and enhancing our integrated system for detecting, measuring, managing, and controlling tax risk, "Tax Control Framework (TCF)," adopted by Italian Group Companies, and, if needed, in Cooperative Compliance activities. In addition, the role will manage autonomously tax fulfillments about direct taxes, following formal aspects and deadlines defined by Italian tax law. A Day in the Life of the Tax Specialist: The role will mainly support the Tax Risk Officer in activities linked to the Tax Control Framework and, in particular, in: Conducting second level tests, defined by Cooperative Compliance Regime, and evaluating adequacy of control measures mapped in the tax risk framework; Supporting business functions in adopting and implementing the most appropriate controls for managing and mitigating tax risks; Updating processes and risks mapped in Risks and Control Matrices (RCM) to support risk assessment phase; Providing rules, procedures, communications, and any other activity with the aim to spread tax culture in the Group companies, particularly periodic updates of tax guidelines of the Group. Additionally, the role will have the capacity to revise, integrate, and approve direct tax calculations (IRES and IRAP), provided by the Center of Services of the Group, for the Italian group companies; guarantee payment of taxes in accordance with the rules and time limits defined by law; monitor tax benefits available and prepare and/or check documentation and calculations; and provide group financial forecasts related to direct taxes. What will make you successful? Master's degree in economics or similar; 2/3 years of experience, preferably in a similar role in companies or within tax consultants or global accounting firms; High interest in the tax area; Knowledge of accountancy principles as IAS/IFRS and OIC; Accuracy, methodicity, teamwork, and deadlines respect capability; Knowledge of office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Fluent Italian and English Only CVs submitted in English will be considered.
