We act as a Business Partner in Search and Selection, through our specialized units: Companies - Executive & C-Level - HR, Finance & Accountancy - Technical & Engineering - Sales & Marketing / Supply Chain - IT & Digital For a client based in Milan we are looking for a: TAX MANAGER Key tasks: ·Contribute to delivering the tax reporting for quarterly and annual closing; ·Review the current and deferred income tax calculation, including the conclusion on recoverability of deferred tax assets (DTA) and valuation allowance (VA) assessments; ·Review Uncertain Tax Positions (UTPs) as reported by Country Tax teams; ·Analyse variance and prepare for reporting to external auditors; ·Provide tax inputs to budget/forecast and business plans, both from P&L and cash tax perspective; ·Provide support to Country TAX teams on tax accounting related topics; ·Deliver tax accounting or tax reporting trainings to key stakeholders; ·Review tax accounting entries with respect to internal reorganizations; ·Ensure CoA/ systems readiness for BEPS 2.0, Total Tax Contribution or CBCR; ·Propose control points with respect to tax reporting/forecasting processes; ·Support the implementation of a largely automated – state of the art tax reporting as well as the cash tax forecasting process; ·Ownership of all aspects of tax return, including VAT, corporation tax return, Intrastat etc.
; ·Understanding and managing tax risk and ensuring the business/accounting activities are aligned with related compliance and tax law; ·Dealing with complex tax issues and keeping up to date with tax regulation changes; ·Evaluation of technical tax considerations relating to business activities.
·Delivering tax plan when required; ·Liaising and negotiating with local tax authorities; ·Acting as the main contact with external consultancy firm for tax matters; ·Able to explain tax legislation and assist the team on an ad hoc basis.
·Bachelor/Master's degree in accounting, finance or tax; ·Tax Accounting proficiency (US GAAP ASC 740 or IFRS IAS 12), CTA/ATT/ACCA or equivalent certification preferred; ·Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA; HFM; CFIN; ·Knowledge (as user) of tax reporting solution; ·Demonstrated understanding of and experience in similar role; ·Strong attention to detail and organization; ·Excellent listening and analytical skills; ·Strong ability to communicate complex topics in concise terms; ·Ability to adapt to change and react with speed, perseverance, and tenacity; ·Strong project management skills.
Ability to follow through and complete tasks on time; ·Excellent interpersonal skills and Team worker; ·Proficient in Excel and computer literate in general, knowledge of finance system would be a plus; ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ·Previous experience with similar industry (Fashion/Retail) is preferred; ·Language: Fluent in Italian and English, German or Chinese is a plus.
Pay grade and salary : They will be commensurate with the actual competence and experience level of the candidate (range 50/55K) Working place : Milan Working hours : Full time - Smart: 1 day per week Starting date : Immediate or according to the candidate's notice.
