Systems Administrator

Overview:
Abacus Technology is seeking a System Administrator to provide technical support for the USAFE Healthcare program at Aviano AB.
This is a full-time position.
**Responsibilities**:
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in systems administration and support.
High School diploma or GED.
** **Must be Security+ certified (or hold another certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT II).
Experience providing technical support for a variety of hardware and software issues.
Experience with a trouble ticket system.
** **Able to provide ongoing informal systems control training to government personnel on all aspects of systems control.
Must maintain proficiency and qualifications required for performance of all systems control responsibilities.
Able to provide training in COMSEC and Information Assurance (IA).
Must maintain awareness of current trends in information technology and perform varied research and periodical searches to identify current trends in information systems, hardware, software, and training.
Able to provide technical expertise for review, re-engineering (if required), and expertise of technical and business processes such as solution fielding and customer support.
Able to develop a thorough understanding of the customer's mission needs and be knowledgeable of the hardware and software capabilities and limitations supporting that functional system.
** **Able to communicate with management, technical staff, and end users in a clear and professional manner.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
