THE ACTIVITIES ST Automotive Digital Product Group is looking for a Product Engineer to be integrated in System Level Test Team. The candidate will be part of Automotive Product Engineering in charge of digital ASICs for ADAS application. The team is located in Agrate Brianza (MB-ITALY).
System Level Test (SLT) is a new step in semiconductor manufacturing flow, becoming a standard requirement for high quality / low ppm complex products whit advanced HW and SW contents. The SLT engineer position requires and provides transversal knowledge touching both application and test/product engineering aspects.
Main job responsibilities and requirements: Device know-how: device architecture, specifications, I/O interfaces, final application characteristics HW Design: SLT board design in cooperation with system providers and customer. The SLT board must replicate as much as possible the final application board, ensuring at the same time full observability and reachability requirements for high volume production usage HW validation: debug and verification at bench of all the HW functionality (LAB instruments usage) MCU FW development to control configurable HW and manage the device test execution HW/FW validation: at bench (LAB instruments / multiple SW/HW interfaces usage) Device Test development: implementation / debug / problem analysis and solving / stability and robustness verification Transfer to production plants: after LAB validation the solution needs to be introduced in production manufacturing plants requiring to match all manufacturing constraints and standard requirements and procedures Data analysis: follow-up production start analyzing data, ensuring statistical results are aligned to expectations, minimizing any overkill, optimizing yield and test efficiency Strict cooperation with customer for test solution implementation, application understanding, customer returns analysis and correlation Profile WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Required Skills:
Master's degree in electronic LAB experience, instruments and main peripherals knowledge is a plus C/ C++ programming languages for embedded FW development in ARM architectures Software toolchain and use of debugging strategies Functional and electric validation test knowledge Electronic board design and validation skills Additional nice to have skills: Knowledge of main buses and relative protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB, PCIe, CAN, SD, DDR...) C-sharp/Phyton programming Basic/Good manual skills – ability to solder/desolder/measure/… FPGA usage experience FPGA design and development with VHDL or Verilog The candidate needs to have interest and enthusiasm to learn, strong attitude to work in team, ability to move within interdisciplinary groups, ability to engage appropriate exchanges with customer. Good spoken and written English language knowledge and availability to travel abroad.
