System Engineer (Linux)

On behalf of a leading company in EDGE video content distribution services, currently undergoing international growth, we are looking for

System Engineers (Linux) Ref. 27/24 As part of the Infrastructure team, they will participate in a wide range of projects aimed at improving the technological platform developed for the operation of streaming services.

In detail, they will be in charge of:

Configuration and management of physical/virtual machines and networks. Trigger configuration for the monitoring systems. Monitoring and troubleshooting of Linux systems, e.g. storage, web servers, proprietary service servers. Storage provisioning, backup, automation (e.g. CI/CD). Requirements: The persons sought are ideally master's graduates in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (diploma holders with compatible experience will also be considered).

They have gained significant experience in the ICT field as Linux system engineers and have skills in storage, virtualization, system monitoring, and TCP/IP protocol.

A good knowledge of the English language is also required.

Previous experience in the configuration and automation of CI/CD software and/or in ISP-Telco or OTT environments will be considered preferential requirements.

A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team complete the profile. Different levels of seniority and experience will be considered.
