RINA is currently recruiting for a System Defence Engineering to join its office in ROME within the Space Defence Division.MissionThe system engineer consultant supports the client to develop tailor-made system solutions that meet specific requirements and provide added value through design, process optimization, and efficiency.Key AccountabilitiesRequirement Analysis: Collaborate with the client development team to specify system requirements, including functional, non-functional, and interface requirements.System Functionality Definition: Identify and describe the key functionalities of the system, considering requirements and final user needs.System Specification Development: Organize and structure the System Specification clearly and coherently.Review and Approval: Conduct periodic reviews of the System Specification with key client stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of requirements and obtain formal approval.Change Management: Manage changes in system requirements during the development process, ensuring they are evaluated, documented, and implemented appropriately.EducationBachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in EngineeringGeneral QualificationsTechnical Knowledge: Basic knowledge in front-edge technologies and Space Defence systems; experience in drafting system requirements for an air/naval defense system; experience in verifying system requirements for an air/naval defense system.Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of at least one programming language.Knowledge of Best Practices: Familiarity with best practices and methodologies in the field of systems engineering, including military (MIL-STD-498) and industry standards (IEC/EN/ISO).Reporting: Ability to analyze and process data and represent them synthetically (reports, metrics, graphs).Use of Engineering Tools: e.g.
