We are currently looking for a Switchboard Operator to join our Front Office Team for the season 2024 Reports to Front Office Manager Main duties and responsibilities: Operate the switchboard according to the hotel standards, policies and procedures Manage and oversee all requests received through Belmond app and Chat Support the Front Office team with guest correspondence and requests Ensure that all guests details and data are properly collected and updated in all relevant systems Transfer all messages accurately and promptly for guests and colleagues Follow hotel procedures for handling matters of emergency Provide service and information regarding hotel facilities to guests and outside calls Work ensuring guests privacy Requirements Soft skills: Effective communication : he/she communicates clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally) that positively impacts on their role, the business and Belmond.

Requirements: Previous experiences in hotel operations are preferred Fluent in English and Italian - both written and spoken Excellent communication skills Possess a courteous and professional telephone manner Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Demonstrate to work with precision and proactively Demonstrate a passion for attention to details and excellence Preferred knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards Manage time effectively in order to meet LQA standards requirements Benefits We offer: Seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
