We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Marketing & Strategy to join our executive team.
This role is pivotal in driving our marketing initiatives, shaping our strategic direction, and enhancing our market presence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, strategy development, and leadership, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Develop & Execute Customer Acquisition Process: - Design, implement, and optimize comprehensive customer acquisition strategies to drive growth.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify target markets and customer segments.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to align acquisition strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze acquisition metrics to ensure effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
Develop Content for AI Data Organization for Pricing, Promotions, etc.
- Lead the creation and management of high-quality content that supports AI-driven data initiatives.
- Work closely with data scientists and product teams to develop content that enhances our pricing, promotions, and revenue management solutions.
- Ensure content is tailored to meet the needs of various stakeholders, including internal teams and external clients.
Drive External Communications: - Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all external communications.
Set Up and Manage Executive Customer Advisory: - Establish and lead an executive customer advisory board to gather insights and feedback from key clients.
- Facilitate regular meetings and discussions to ensure customer needs and perspectives are integrated into strategic planning.
- Leverage advisory board insights to drive product innovation and customer satisfaction.
Work Closely with the CEO on Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): - Partner with the CEO to develop and refine the company's strategic vision and long-term goals.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities to support growth and expansion.
- Lead due diligence and integration efforts for acquired companies.
Be the Spokesperson for the Company to the Market: - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
- Deliver compelling presentations and speeches to promote the company's vision and offerings.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers, to build and maintain strong relationships.
Build World-Class Learning Management System (LMS) for Internal and External Teams: - Develop and implement a robust LMS to support the training and development needs of internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with HR and training departments to create engaging and effective learning content.
- Ensure the LMS is user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, and leadership roles, preferably within the technology or CPG industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
- Strong understanding of AI-driven data initiatives and their application in pricing and promotions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in external communications and public speaking.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with executive teams and manage cross-functional projects.
- Experience in setting up and managing customer advisory boards.
- Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions processes and experience in leading M&A initiatives.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
