RINA is currently recruiting for a Sustainable Transition & Gender Junior Consultant to join its office in Genova or Milano, Italy within the ESG & Sustainability Division.
MissionThe Resource Efficiency and Management Unit of RINA is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support the team in the management and development of projects and proposals for the International Financing Institutions (EBRD, EIB, WB, etc.). The successful candidate will have passion in the energy transition and green economy sectors, a good attitude to project management, good communications skills and a strong teamwork attitude.
Key AccountabilitiesAssist the Project Manager in running projects for the International Financing Institutions in the field of energy transition, SME (small medium enterprises) competitiveness, gender parity, agribusiness value chainActive interaction with the client aimed at both project deliveries and commercial opportunities identification and developmentSupport in elaboration and revision of technical reports for International Financing Institutions related to Green Financing and SME competitivenessInteraction with local and international consultants in the countries of operations and assure the whole project standard of qualityDevelop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimatesSupport the team in general management of the projects meeting client's requestsStay abreast of regulations and best practices related to product quality and safety, environment and health and safety of SME #LI-MP3 QualificationsPassion and interest in learning and in giving contribution in the energy transition field and in topics related to gender empowerment especially in the context of a just transition.Excellent communication skills in Italian and English both oral and written, a third language will be considered as a plus;Ability to write well structured, concise and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documentsAvailability for short business trips within and outside EUVery good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power PointCLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfactionEARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversityPROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role ModelMANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactionsPIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstancesBUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organizationMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraintADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective wayTHINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the futureEducationUniversity Degree (preferably engineering or economy)
