Job Description Summary The sustainability project manager is responsible for leading the execution of our sustainability initiatives within the Segment. This role involves planning, project management, and cross-department collaboration to drive the successful implementation of sustainability programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of sustainability standards, and the ability to engage and motivate global, diverse teams. Key Responsibilities: Co-design, co-ordinate, co-implement and manage key sustainability initiatives that align with the Segment objectives. Co-develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely and effective execution. Listen to and collaborate with internal teams, including finance, sourcing, engineering, operations, Lean, and EHS. Build relationships with external stakeholders, as needed. Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor progress and measure the success of sustainability initiatives. Prepare and present regular progress reports to leadership and stakeholders. Identify potential challenges and risks associated with the roll-out of the initiatives and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with applicable sustainability regulations and standards. Keep up to date about industry trends, best practices, and new initiatives in sustainability. Identify areas for improvement, trends, and patterns to define and propose continuous improvement projects for both processes and impacts. Oversee budget allocation for sustainability initiatives and track expenditures, ROI to ensure financial efficiency. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, ideally with a focus on sustainability. Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and teams.
