Each hotel has its own personality, drawing inspiration from urban culture, history, and style to create highly personalized experiences highlighted by elegance, striking design, and attentive service.The intern, working alongside Massimo De Venuto - Corporate Sustainability Coordinator and General Manager of Portrait Firenze, will be involved in the following activities: • Collaborating with the Company''s Sustainability Champions on sustainability topics • Development and Monitoring of the Corporate Sustainability Strategy: Actively contribute to the definition and monitoring of the company''s sustainability strategy.
• ESG Data Analysis and Monitoring: Participate in the collection, analysis, and monitoring of data needed to identify significant trends and patterns within Sustainability Reports and/or Statements.
• Development of Performance Indicators: Provide support in selecting and/or developing performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the company''s progress toward Environmental, Social, and Governance goals.
• Sustainability and Circular Economy Measurement: Develop direct competencies in key application systems for measuring sustainability and circular economy, such as CDA (Hospitality Assurance Certified).
• Working alongside the operational departments of our hotels to propose various sustainable ideas and provide continuous follow-up on the implemented solutions.
Lungarno Collection Requirements: Energy and enthusiasm, a positive attitude, perseverance, and elegance both inside and out.Requirements: • Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental engineering, Economics, Environmental Sciences/Forestry Sciences, or relevant Master's or specific courses in sustainability.
• Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, goal-oriented work approach, autonomy, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for sustainability topics.
