In the context of the energy transition, Biogas Solutions Europe business has seen double-digit growth for the last years in Europe. This business includes the technologies and solutions that we offer throughout the value chain, from the production of biomethane, to its ultimate use (in transportation, industry, or for the production of low-carbon hydrogen).
Our European business is currently focused on France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway), and Italy. Our growth is driven by the opening of several biomethane production plants and by strong demand from industry and the transportation sector. And finally, as we have developed our solutions across the biomethane value chain, various projects have emerged as examples of a local circular economy.
**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**
Air Liquide Biogas Solutions Italia is a young entity focused on Bio-LNG plants engineering, construction and operation.
It now has several Bio-LNG plants running in the Est-Milan area ; while others are in the project. These plants produce Bio-LNG using agricultural feedstock and have an integrated treatment with the whole value chain on the same plant, making it a very complete industrial model.
You will report directly to the Head of Operations and your main objective will be to ensure the technical compliance of the production plants towards the complex regulation schemes of Biomethane, both in Italy and in Europe. It involves operational/industrial topics, as well as regulation topics.
**Energy and Sustainability**:
- Certificates generation : Guarantee sustainability requirements compliance in order to be able to sell the Bio-LNG on different markets in Europe, through different certifications and incentives schemes.
- Responsible for the technical evolution of reporting tools (GHG calculation, Mass Balance, etc.)
- Responsible for reported data consistency in order to proceed to submission by the 10th of each month.
- Responsible for communication with main feedstock suppliers, to ensure stable documentation sending.
- Main point of contact for GSE (Italian regulation organism) and ISCC auditors.
- Participate in national regulatory watch, national public affair & advocacy CICs and coordination with European Energy Director for European directives evolutions
- Be the main interlocutor for auditors, regulation organisms, manage the annual audits onsite and potential inspection visits.
**Logistics**:
- Manage overall Logistics with customers and commercial team.
- Be the technical point of contact for customers if needed.
You will interact with the Asset Performance manager responsible for the production of the plants, with the Business team in charge of customer management and with the European Energy Director for GHG and overall certifications processes topics.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in general operations, maintenance and commissioning activities onsite.
You will be part of the oncall team.
**Are You a Match ?**
You graduated in one of these majors : Chemical engineering, Energy, Process engineering, Environmental engineering.
You are interested in working as operations and environmental engineer in fields linked to biogas, gas processing and industrial compliance, with a Business orientation.
Your English is fluent and you are comfortable in handling relations with different stakeholders within the organization.
You are an Italian speaker and thus able to interact on a daily basis for both plant activities or reporting related activities.
You are flexible, adaptable and have good communication skills. You have a problem solving approach.
